“Fairy, Out of WedlUck) To Be Publicly Screened in Iran
The Iranian new remake of the long waited banned film Parinaaz, is scheduled to have its public screening in summer.
“Fairy, Out of WedlUck” which stars a lineup of Iranian greatest celebrities inclucing Fateme Motamed Aria, Hamid Farrokh Nejad, Tanaz Tabatabaee and Farhad Ayish narrates a provocative story of a little girl whose mother is accused of adultery and suicide and now she is left with her only relative, her aunt (played by Fateme Motamed Aria) who believes the kid is an illegitimate child and based on her religious thoughts and beliefs she’s unclean.
“We’ve started our negotiation with different international companies for its worldwide distribution and right now we’re dealing with its dubbing” said Abdol Mohammad Najibi the producer of the film.
“Fairy, Out of WedlUck” was showcased in this year Cannes film festival for buyers and festival organizers and received a good critique. The film is written by Babak Kaidan and directed by Bahram Bahramian.
