Iranian movies at Edinburgh festival
Iranian films “Night Shift” by director and actress Niki Karimi and “Melbourne” by Nima Javidi will compete in at the Edinburgh International Film Festival, which will be held in Scotland from June 17-28.
“Night Shift” tells the story of a young woman and her mother who interprets the strange behavior of her daughter’s husband.
“Melbourne” is about a young couple, Amir and Sara, who plan to leave Tehran to try a new life in Melbourne. However, a tragic event puts their plans at risk.
